Wondering what this is? Yeah, back before laptops and recording software, to make a mix, a DJ had to do some serious work. A DJ would connect the turntables up to their radio, line up each record and the tape and record each piece one at a time. If you want to layer it, you'd have to time it right and layer each peice over that. We all have the power to help and we need to take responsibility whenever we can to do our part. It's sometimes bigger than music.</p> <p>I wanted to speak out about a horrible and serious situation going on in the community. A string a sexual abuse has been happening against women since March 16th and started on 47th and Center, the same block I grew up on for 21 years of my life. It's even more personal because I have a mother, 2 sisters and other close females in my family that I care deeply for.</p> <p>The range of attacks have spread between the blocks of 18th and 60th and Center. Police said five victims have been sexually assaulted since, and four of those five women were also robbed.</p> <p>Myself, as a representative for <a href="http://www.trueskool.org/" target="_blank">True Skool</a>, along with the men of Urban Underground and the Sherman Park Neighborhood Association got together to <a href="http://www.wisn.com/r/27666774/detail.html?sms_ss=facebook&amp;at_xt=4db6e350d1b14146%2C0" target="_blank">speak out against these crimes</a> and show support for all the people in the community.</p> <p>This will not be tolerated and if anyone is in fear or has concerns about these crimes, they have, along with the police, groups to turn to. <a href="http://www.wisn.com/r/27666774/detail.html?sms_ss=facebook&amp;at_xt=4db6e350d1b14146%2C0" target="_blank">WISN</a> and <a href="http://www.cbs58.com/index.php?aid=17087">CBS 58</a> were there yesterday to interview the representatives from these organizations. As Howard Fuller said, if anyone knows anything about this, please come forward to the police and speak up. The man takes beatboxing to a whole nutha level with the use of the sampler on stage to recreate classic and original beats on the spot.
